Happy Mother's Day

S P O I L E D ... that is me! And no, I am not referring to money. The green stuff and I are not friends. It is more of a 'looks familiar' than even an aquaintance. LOL.
But yes, I am still spoiled. And so happy.
We worked our asses off this weekend. My arms still hurt. Bruises everywhere. I could so go back to bed at this moment. But where would that get me? I would not get anything done. Just need to keep moving so I can get something accomplished before the girls want to go outside.
They have been sick. I was lucky enough to come down with it on Thursday. Thank God and my doctor for quick relief. It's more than enough to take care of vomiting toddlers... I don't need to try to clean them up while bowing to the porcelin god myself. Now if they would just be done with it.
For Mother's Day, I got a new (and my first) sewing machine, a gift card to get my sewing tools and supplies, a summer outfit, body cologne, a camera case and a trellis. S P O I L E D I tell ya. *loving it all* Now if I can just teach myself how to sew, lol. Any tips people? HAHAHA. I have had my eye on a pattern for a lil while now, so I will go buy that and the materials before they are no longer available. I know... I am no where near ready to start making clothes yet... hopefully soon.
The most amusing thing for me was the man of the house showing me how to thread my sewing machine. Who knew he took Home Ec? LOL. Turns out, I guess it is a required class here in middle school. My school never required me to take it. And I know it was only offered in high school there. But I moved here my sophmore year. In so many ways, I wish I had taken it! But thanks to my supportive friends, Twin and Niki, and a few family members, I tend to be able to learn what I need to I guess.
I'm anxiously awaiting the supplies for my next project. They should start arriving today. YAY.
Pretty much every weekend is already accounted for this summer. Starting this weekend with participating in a huge parade. Kat has activities 3-4 days a week right now. And the PTO was begging me to assume the roll of VP for the next school year. HELLO? Not only did I let them know it was not even a possibility, I also let them know I would most likely have to bow out of my currently yearly PTO committments for now. I do kinna feel bad for both since a friend of mine is taking over presidency of PTO next year. But I will help out as much as I can whenever time permits. I just can not be committed to everything.
Anyone have storage room for approximately 300 computers and monitors, plus other odds and ends? LOL. Yeah, I need to get on the phone. If only we could get certain people to sell us their place and land on contract. *sigh* Say a few prayers for me?
Lets see... was there anything else? Eh... maybe I will think of more later.
